Soon winter

This morning it was so frosty when I was out with the dogs. The ground was frozen, so it was really slippery! But this is such a nice picture of vazy that I want to share it with you.
She's doing really well. She hasn't lost almost any weight and she seems more energetic. She has lost some of the things for the obedience competitions, so I have to start training for the competition in november!
Aila is gaining weight. I don't know how, 'cause I'm giving her less food. And she's so hungry all the time that it's hard when we're out for walks.. She want to eat everything she can find! I'm trying to give her the light version of canami lamb and rice now. I think I will keep to that, 'cause it's better for Vazy as well. Less fat and proteins will be better for her gallbladder...

Aila is impossible to catch...

She never wanna stay still, so it's so hard to get some nice photos of her. I tried yesterday, but wasn't happy. So I tried again today, a bit better.. But then it's the phone-camera.. So it's not the best quality.
I managed to come to my senses and calm down a bit on the walks. Training more and trying to keep calmer.. So Aila is already a bit better.... Vazy seems happy and got more energy already. But it's true that I'm still scared she will eat something, or do something so she'll get sick again... I guess that's why it's hard to keep them as good as they normally are, when it comes to training....

Took some photos when I was out this morning..
Aila is a bit of a pain at the moment. Maybe she got some kind of teenage crisis.. Or maybe it's just me that's a bit tired from all the worrying, that I'm not as calm as I used to. She's barking at everyone and everything now, especially dogs. She was so good not long ago, and could even pass dogs without saying anything. I hope I can get there again.. It's all ups and downs. I guess she has too much energy when I can't walk them as much as I used to..

Dogs doing well..

Now she's doing well. She lost a bit of weight, and have to have a lot of different medications and eat 5 times a day. But she seems happier, not as depressed as before. That means she's not in pain any more. She don't have blood anywhere, and no more diarrhea. So basically she's a lot better!
She's not as good friend with Aila any more, but I think that it will get better when Vazy has more energy again. The medications are making her a bit tired...
But when I left her off the leash she was running ahead slowly, smelling everything and seeming totally alright. Not the way she was before, walking on heel behind me all the time.
But now I have to walk them!

she came home today, she was so happy to see us! she really seems like herself again. she had no diarrea, eventhough it seems to still be some blood in her intestants...
since she was biting off the infusion-tubes she got this big liquid thing under her skin instead. she looks so funny! but she seems alright, a lot better!! she has a lot of medications, 4 different ones that she has to take 3 times a day. she has to eat 5 times a day, small portions.. But, she's gonna be alright. no running and long walks for a week or two....

so that's the news for now. i'm really happy to have her back. she's a bit pissed off at Aila, who has taken over a bit lately.. so Vazy has to tell her off a bit.. Aila also has so much energy all the time! So i can understand that vazy gets tired of her....

She's coming home today!

So, now I've talked to the vet. They say she's better for everyday. She's got a lot of medications and all, but coming home today anyway! We're going to get her at 4... I'll tell you more when she's home, when I can see how she's doing and all.....

so, no good news this morning.
she's still not coming home.
this morning she was throwing up blood again. so she hasn't stopped bleeding from the intestants and stomach yet.
they know that she has an inflammation in the gallbladder and a heavy inflammation in the intestants, but they don't know what has caused it.. they think it must be something she's been eating, or some virus maybe. But she's been with us all the time, i haven't seen her eat anything other than grass... maybe there was a virus on the grass? Anyway, that's why they're keeping her too, cause if it is a virus, maybe Aila can be sick too. so we don't want that.
Vazy is really not at all happy at the vet clinic, now that she's feeling a bit better, she's a pain for everyone... she's biting off her infusion "wires" (what are they called??), and i'm sure, since i know her, that she's doing it on purpose, cause she knows she's getting attention.. she's always learning stuff like that really quickly..

so, no good news, but they say that she will probably come home tomorrow night, unless she gets worse during the day.....

Vazy has been eating by herself this morning, she don't wanna be alone again (good sign!) and she has no diarrea.. so she's probably coming home tomorrow.
other good news is that it's not gonna be as expensive as I thought.. So that's great.
Feels so good to know that she will survive and that she's already feeling better!

Thanks everyone for your support. It's been so nice to see that so many cares for Vazy and me. It really helps when feeling stressed and worried...

Aila is going to a big expo...

We're going to the Stockholm International Expo in december. puh. I think I have to practice a bit! Aila can't stand still more than 2 sec!!

No news about Vazy yet, but they will probably phone in an hour or so...

I miss her a lot already....

a bit better..

Vazy seems to be a bit better now. when they phoned this morning, she hadn't been puking or having diarrea in some time. but she's still bleeding from the intestants.. so she'll stay at least the whole weekend. she's still on heavy painkillers and antibiotics, and they still think that's it's the gallbladder. they also said that if it was the gallbladder it's better that she stays, cause then it can turn and get worse really quickly, so if she's kept there, they can sort it out if that happens.
hopefully she'll be home by the beginning of the week, if everything goes well...

i cancelled the competition for next weekend. too bad, it would have been fun to compete...

vazy stays at the vet..

News of today are no better or no worse.. it seems like she might have some problems with her gallbladder (vesicule biliaire, gallblåsa), as they've seen on a quick bloodtest.. they sent the blood for further analysis.. she still have bloody diarrea. she's getting antibiotics so she won't get bloodpoisoning, she also gets infusion in the blood and other medications, like painkillers.. since she has a pain in her belly..
she don't want to eat today. but she haven't lost weight yet (she haven't been eating well for the whole week). she has to stay at the vet and if she doesn't get worse they will phone tomorrow and tell me what's up..

i'm quite worried. but i trust the people at the vet.. if it's something wrong with the gallbladder, it can be fixed.. but she will probably have to stay quite some time at the vet.. i'm just telling everyone: get insurance! if i wouldn't have had insurance, i would have had to put her to sleep, cause i wouldn't have been able to pay the 3 or 4 thousand euro it will probably cost... so, that's just a tip....

Just got home from the vet. Vazy had to stay there, cause she has very irritated intestants and stomach.. it was bleeding. diarrea.. I don't know anything more at the moment, but they will phone me if it gets worse, or tomorrow in during the day if not..
I really hope that they will find out what it is and fix it.. it's a big clinic, they got a lot of vets, and experts.. so they will do everything they can..
now we just have to believe that she can do it, and that they will fix it.....

i'm really worried anyway.. gonna try to get some sleep and some food.. been up since 3 in the morning....

I'm still tired and still nervous.. I hope I will get some good news tomorrow so I can stop worrying.......

Vazy is sick

She's been weird since thursday. She started looking depressed and was walking 2 meters behind me all the time.. After that she stopped eating on saturday.. She had no diarréa or other signs of sickness.. but i knew something was not normal.. Monday night she had puked on the floor atleast 5 times.. There was nothing to be thrown up, so it was only a watery mess...
Then on tuesday I went to the veterinary and they found nothing special. But there too she was acting weird. She didn't wanna open her mouth.. And she never does that. Then she also seems a bit more aggressive with Aila sometimes.. That's not normal either... She goes up and down, yesterday she was running, and even eating almost a whole portion of food.. But tonight I woke up around 3, she was whining and scratching the door.. Didn't understand, too tired to get up.. So i just waited.. Then she didn't stop. so i went up, and she had had diarrea on the floor.. I went out with her, and she's even got fresh blood coming out.... Scary... They found nothing on the bloodtests, she didn't seem in pain in the stomach when I was at the vet... But i don't know.. They also sent some bloodsamples to see if it's maybe one of the diseases transmitted by tics....
I so hope it's nothing serious! But it seems to me, cause it's something hidden.. scary...

Agility and autumn...

Well, haven't been writing for a while now. But that doesn't mean that I don't do anything.
I've finally found a club where I can train agility, I think I might have already mentioned that.
It's one hour away though, but I guess it's worth it. It was so much fun the other time! Nice group and they seem to be on the same level as me.. so that's cool.
Otherwise we're doing fine, I think Aila is in the end of her heat now, luckily..
It's gone fine. I'm training her to stay close when walking in the forest, cause she likes to run off chasing animals... But when I tell Aila off, Vazy thinks it's for her too.. So she's walking on heel all the time now! or one meter behind... I hope it's gonna pass, I don't know exactly what triggered this behaviour... I mean, I only call Aila back.. Hum.. Sometimes I think she might even be sick.. She looks kind of depressed.. Not easy to explain.. I hope it will pass soon though.. Maybe I would have to go to the vet otherwise, just to have her checked out....
Anyway, I miss all the comments I used to get ;)

Aila's in heat! My little Aila is a big girl now! hehe..
She's still really good, she start to like to walk on heel now.. and she's really good at coming when called, even when other dogs are coming and all.
she's also better with the barking, she's barking only once, and then she comes back running to me to get a tidbit!
hehe.
Vazy needs more training. she's becoming more of a pain when we meet dogs on walks.. cause she don't care about tidbits, nor other stuff.. so... i'll see what i'll do about that.. weird how she change when she meets dogs in sweden, in comparison to what she used to be like in france... But i'll figure something out.
found a place to do agility, or acctually two. going to watch on monday, to see what it's like.. the other place just started the agility, so they might not know as much.. but we'll see.. might go there to check on sunday..
that's all for now.. Vazy and me got 2 competitions in obedience by the end of the month, then I can hopefully move on to class II...
