puh...

sometimes you just get a bit tired...
yesterday when i came home the dogs had eaten a loaf of bread, and another piece of bread that seemed to be mouldy.. i got so worried!
when i get home, there's always something destroyed.. mostly the mail or plastic bags, or stuff from the office thrash.. but, it don't seem like they're barking all the time, we haven't got any complaints.. i guess i just have to make a box for the mail and not leave anything out..
i think it would have been good with some chewing bones, but i can't get any.. cause vazy would steal them, and she's not allowed to eat any.....

otherwise, the barking thing is going so so... it works sometimes.. but the most difficult situation is when dogs are coming towards us.. if i focus on vazy, aila starts going crazy, and the other way around.. it's not easy when they're two! anyways, i'm thinking of buying an anti barking collar, with the "spraying" thing.. i tried it once at the club, and it worked super well.. i was thinking that if i keep it on all the time for a few weeks, she should get better. and then it's easier to focus on vazy, and reinforcing attention on me with treats... it's impossible when they get too focused on the other dog.. and it's the same for both of them.. but i think they're at least getting a bit better..
it's not always easy as well, when some other dogowners let their dogs come to say "hello" eventhough i tell them i want them to be calm and quiet first.. so..... but i guess it's like mathieu says; either they get rewarded by seeing the dog, or they get rewarded by "chasing" it away... i don't know. hope that the collar will work!
otherwise they're super good! in the forest they're so much more attentive now (but vazy has always been, i guess i'm more talking about aila).. i do so many exercises every walk, that now they're getting used to them.. keeping close, keeping an eye on me, and always coming when called.. nice nice. haven't been training so much this week. but next week will be better.

probably going for a walk with the other laponian herders on sunday.. that's the ones that i train with on tuesdays and thursdays from now on... that would be fun!
